As a CEO, I used to think impact was measured by business results, donations, or the number of people we could help. A recent sabbatical in the Himalayas challenged that belief. What if the most powerful form of inclusion is not giving money or even saving lives, but sharing knowledge, opportunities, and confidence with someone who would otherwise never have access to them? Through personal stories from the Voices of Himalaya project, I will explore why the future of DEI may be less about programs and policies, and more about expanding human potential. And why changing one life can sometimes have a greater impact than changing a thousand processes.
